Message Today I went over to Harry's shop to find out how much power I gained from Ash's new manifolds. Here are the differences:

before:
-dyno was done in October, shop temps were ~98-100 degrees
-AMS manifolds
-heads completely untouched
93 octane
after:
-shop temps were around ~64-70 degrees today
-Ash manifolds
-heads port matched to manifolds on exhaust side
-exhaust divider knife edged in the head
-upper intake manifold port matched to lower
-lower intake manifold port matched to heads
-heads left completely alone on intake side
93 octane

from what I can see, there was a 4hp gain everywhere, the midrange (5000-5500) gained 10-12 hp, then the top end (6200+) gained up to 25hp.
I did expect more but to be fair the tune was not optimized to the "edge" of safety.... in fact the tune stayed pretty much exactly the same for both runs.
Perhaps these manifolds would allow for more boost or timing over AMS/MSP manifolds, but take it for what it's worth, these are the results I had. I will also say while the engine was out I looked very carefully at some blueprint pictures of EFR6258 turbos on the internet and I suspect they will fit Ash's manifolds, but I would need them physically to confirm, in which case these manifolds (to me) would be totally worth it.

You're correct, there are 3 good reasons -vorpalZ
